Thinly slice four large cloves of garlic

Remove the zest and juice from one whole lemon, being gentle with the zest to remove as little pith as possible

Thinly slice the cleaned lemon peel into julienne cut or thinly slice it

Juice half of the lemon

Generously season the boiling water with salt and add spaghetti, cooking for one minute less than the packet instructions

In a large pan over medium-high heat, melt one tablespoon of olive oil and one and a half tablespoons of unsalted butter

Add the sliced garlic and a pinch of sea salt, frying for about one minute

Add the thinly sliced lemon zest and all of the lemon juice, cooking for another one minute

Add one cup of heavy cream and season with salt and pepper, bringing to a light boil and then reducing the heat to low to simmer and slightly reduce

Transfer the al dente pasta to the sauce and add the chopped parsley, cooking for one final minute
